For more than 18 years, Dr. Joseph “Joe” Petry served as a clinical professor of economics and finance in the university’s College of Business and Liberal Arts & Sciences, teaching graduate MBA and undergraduate courses in statistics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.
As part of his educational pedagogy, Dr. Petry has explored concepts such as a flipped classroom, which involves students watching a lecture online before class, then meeting in person to participate in a dynamic hands-on activity.
